Friends21 was started in April 2008 by Andrew. Andrew a full time student at San Diego State University, and a computer science major had an idea to start his own social network. Doing some research in the field, he saw that the competition was going to be tough. He wanted to put a little twist to his website, so he networked with music.
Andrew brother Joe a full time student at ITT TECH University, a marketing and computer science major came on board with his brother in June 2008. Andrew and Joe worked round the clock figure out how they can stand out to their competion. In June 2008 friends21 incorporated mp3 & mp4 download into their script. In July 2008 friends21 incorporated movie download aspect into the site, these two feature put them above their competion. Friends21 has continued to grow day by day. The goal's for the website, is to become the biggest music download sited on the internet!
